I CAN BE A ‘HANDFUL’ The separated fingers resemble open-mindedness & “free spirit”. You are able to think “outside the box” and enjoy variety. You are constantly searching for opportunities & are not ruled by conventional methods.
The small angle created between your index and thumb reveals that you do not react, you analyze and respond. You don’t rush you thoroughly think before you take action.
The joining of your head line & life line at the beginning indicate that a strong sense of mind rules over body.
The wider angles created at the top near the middle finger represents a person who tends to look for those whose status rises above their own,& has great respect for them. If such a line is very straight and parallel to the Head Line, then it shows strong emotional control.
Special markings on this line indicate Specific events which occurred in your life. Youth, represents adult, old age.

“I think we have an Ambivalent
Relationship with this Element in fashion. On the one hand, there’s something really horrible about this tension of having to do something, but on the other
hand there’s something very stimulating about it,
Knowing that you have to go on, you have to create. There was this ambition and conviction that we wanted to work at the highest level possible.”

Not a Perfectionist, AN ABSTRACTIONIST Perhaps this is why I gravitate to aluminum as my preferred material, and why from childhood on, I have been especially fond of the works of Miro and Calder
18 SOFT & LIGHT
I understand the importance of finishing touches and small details, but these come secondary to the feeling, the work of art conveys to the viewer. I want it to be more than what meets the eye at first glance.

23 CHROMO COLOR
Le Interview
The field of color psychology Attempts to Identify the effects of color on human emotion and Activity.
The science of color is sometimes called chromatics, chromatography, colorimetry, or simply color science. It includes the perception of color by the human eye and brain, the origin of color in materials, color theory in art, and the physics of electromagnetic radiation in the visible range (that is, what we commonly refer to simply as light). R.S. Berns, Principles of Color Technology, 3rd Ed., Wiley, New York (2001).

For the timid AT HEART
Tone things down with monochromatic blocks of color or go the safe black and white route. Black and white can be just as graphic as bright color combinations.
NO
OS Monochromatic COLOR BLOCKING This understated technique may be a great way to ease into the Color blocking trend.
26 FOLDED
Form SENSITIVE
Instead of contrasting colors this micro trend is all about sticking to the same color family. Reds and Pinks. Blacks and greys.
Structural colors are colors caused by interference effects rather than by pigments. Color effects are produced when a material is scored with fine parallel lines, formed of one or more parallel thin layers.

DY Introducing the KURVEN CHAIR This chair was created by designer Cody Stonerock utilizing bent plywood, White Oak veneer, and leather
27 KURVEN TALKS
Experimental meets ELEGANT The skin is sewn on each end into the loop. This allows for easy assembly and dismantling as well as some choice material seats.
Kurven Chair is made of bent plywood, White Oak veneer, and leather. It also features a fiberglass reinforcement. The leather seat can easily be attached or detached from the chair. It’s also backed with a canvas material to prevent stretching.

29 GABO’S THEORY Gabo began to experiment with kinetic sculpture
19 20
In the manifesto Gabo criticized Cubism and Futurism as not becoming fully abstract arts and stated that the spiritual experience was the root of artistic production.
The essence of Gabo’s art was the exploration of space which he believed could be done without having to depict mass. His earliest constructions such as Head No.2 were formal experiments in depicting the volume of a figure without carrying its mass.
A ‘Realistic Manifesto’
30 GABO’S THEORY
“When masculine is used to describe men, it can have Degrees of Comparison—more masculine, most Masculine. The Opposite can be Expressed by terms such as unmanly. A typical nearsynonym of masculinity is virility. Roget’s II: The New Thesaurus, 3rd. ed., Houghton Mifflin, 1995.
Alright, HE DID IT AGAIN His influence was important to the development of modernism within St Ives.

Le Interview
Acute AWARENESS
In his work, Gabo used time and space as construction elements and in them solid matter unfolds and becomes beautifully surreal and otherworldly.
32 GABO’S THEORY
Naum GABO “The real stuff of Gabo’s art is not his physical materials, but his perception of space, time and movement. ‘
Rythmic INTERIOR In fact, the element of movement in my interior resembles strong sculptural sentiments of rhythm, more implicit and deeper than the chaotic patterns of the drawing itself.
