Drive along the atlantic seaboard via Hout Bay with a visit to Seal Island and then continue to the Cape Peninsula National Park and Cape point. Over Chapmans Peak the most scenic drive within the reserve you will see a wide range of indigenous fynbos as well as baboons, buck and other wild life. We also visit the most southwestern tip of Africa to admire the views from the cliff tops at the old lighthouse. Stop off at the penguin colony at Boulder's Beach to view the penguins.
Wine lover or not, a visit to the Cape Winelands is an absolute must as the region is one of breathtaking vistas and majestic mountain backdrops while being steeped in rich culture and history. Rolling vineyards and quaint Cape Dutch homesteads await you, as well as award -wining wine farms offering some of the country's best wines. Go wine tasting in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Enjoy a leisurely lunch in Franschhoek's main street for a selection of quaint cafe's and bistros.

Hermanus. A popular holiday destination for tourists and locals alike, Hermanus is hailed as offering the best land based whale watching in the world. From July onwards Southern Right Whales pay homage to these warm, shallow waters in order to calf their young and to mate. The best time for whale watching is between August and November and at this time the bay is dotted with whales. More often than not, they're more than happy to put on a performance. Garden Route

No visit to the Western Cape is complete without at least a few days spent in the beautiful Garden Route region, which is aptly named for its lush greenery and the vast Tsitsikamma Forest. The coastal route includes the towns of Mossel Bay, George, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay and Nature's Valley- each with their own charm and attractions. Day 1 Depart from Cape Town and travel through rolling countryside en route to Oudtshoorn.where we visit an ostrich farm. We overnight in Oudtshoorn. Day 2 Depart after breakfast to visit the Cango Caves, then we depart for a visit to the wildlife park Highlights : Cango caves • Crocs/Lions/wild life • Overnight in Oudtshoorn Day 3 After breakfast we check out of hotel and depart for Knysna via George where we visit the Railway Museum. In Knysna we board the John Benn for a sunset cruise to the heads with dinner on board. Highlights : Railway Museum • The Heads • Sunset Cruise Day 4 Depart after breakfast for a day to the Tsitsikama Nature Reserve with a walk in the forest then onto Storms River Mouth. We return to Knysna where we overnight. Day 5. Our final day takes us through Mossel Bay where we visit Bartholomeus Dias Museum on our return to Cape Town.
