Once it’s recycled
I appreciate all the individual parts of every piece of recycled jewelry. I disassemble the jewelry, wash the beads, clean the metals, and sort by colour and material. I then use these recycled materials to create new pieces of jewelry with sterling silver. Sterling silver is a precious metal and can have many lifetimes, like the recycled beads in my designs. I also create other accessories with the recycled beads – such as artwork or buttoned knitwear.

Why Recycle?
Every woman has it – a handful of necklaces in her jewelry box that simply never gets worn. Or, you might have a single earring – its mate has been lost for years! Everybody loves jewelry, but like all fashion items – trends go in and out of style. That’s why I decided to start recycling jewelry – to provide a solution for you and inspiration for me!
How do I recycle jewelry? 1. Bring Me Jewelry Anywhere I’ll be, I’ll be accepting jewelry! In fact, if you bring me jewelry at a market, you can immediately have 15% off your order – on top of any other promotions I’m offering.
2. Mail Me Jewelry If you are cleaning out your jewelry box to make way for Spring 2009 fashions, toss those old pieces in a bag/box/ envelope and address is to me. I’ll reimburse your shipping once the package arrives, if you let me know the cost of mailing. See the back panel for contact details.
3. Host A Jewelry Drive Invite your friends & family to use my services. Show them this brochure, or visit the Recycle tab on my website to explain recycling jewelry. Gather their recycled jewelry and make a bulk shipment. Let me know and I’ll email you coupons for you & your participants!
4. Partner With Me Do you own a store? Act as a drop point and invite your customers to recycle jewelry. Bring traffic to your store, and exposure to my cause. I’ll provide a poster & reimburse periodic shipments.
