Dear Fire, Police and EMS organization, The 3rd Annual SMOKE IN THE VALLEY Craft Beer and Chili Festival to benefit Seymour Youth Athletics will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2013 preceding First Night from 1:00 to 4:30 in downtown Seymour. This event will include a Craft Beer sampling from over 50 Breweries, a home brew competition, a chili competition, food, live music and other vendors. We would like to extend an invitation to all local fire, police and EMS organizations to participate in this event by entering your organization into the chili competition. As over 2500 people are expected, it would be a great opportunity for you to promote your organization as well as have the opportunity to compete with other area fire, police and EMS organizations. With the exception of a nominal fee of $50.00 for a temporary food service license from the Naugatuck Valley Health Department, your participation is totally free. In addition, as a non-profit organization, you may solicit “tips� for chefs for your organization as well as the opportunity to win one of the awards.
