PROJECT - 1 CONCEPT DESIGN

REGIONAL SCIENCE & PLANETARIUM The competition project is designed with a belief that science is the answer for all the problems existing in the society. The Science centre will instill confidence in children and enable them to be agents of change. The space will be designed in a way that science is made accessible by disseminating knowledge through activities, being equipped with tools for a change, facilitating interactions and experimentations and embedding experiences for the students visiting the science centre. The vision is not to restrict learning to listening and watching a teacher; instead to engage the whole body to actively interact and participate in the education. That form of alternative and distinctive education is part of a reason why a Science centre is very important for students. MY ROLE IN THE PROJECT: Being a prospective project, major involvement was in the conceptual design development of all the spaces in the building which includes 3D modelling, visualisation, physical model and presentation.
