ACH TIME WE OPEN OUR electric bill, we become acutely aware of how much the summer heat of Florida costs us as we try to remain cool. One way to save during those warm spells is to sweat it out and hope that it ends soon, which, in this area, is usually shortly after Christmas. We can now combat high energy bills through intelligent climate management in both our homes and businesses by using smart “connected” energy-saving thermostats.

Honeywell’s Z-Wave Thermostat enables automatic control with Honeywell’s leading “Connected (Smart) Security Systems.” Precise temperature control enables ZWSTAT to provide better comfort, fewer temperature swings, and conserve more energy. Different from a traditional programmable thermostat, the Honeywell ZWSTAT learns how long the air conditioning and furnace take to reach programmed settings, so the temperature is reached at the scheduled time. Additionally, changes to schedules and real time setting can be made from the convenience of your smart phone or smart pads. Keypad Lockouts can also be created to keep temperature setting limited to a maximum/minimum setting.
