Behavior Watch Video Content Analysis System Product Description
Behavior WatchTM is an advanced video content analysis system that detects and tracks objects in real time video, allowing the user to select from a rich set of detectable behaviors to alert upon. Behavior Watch is a part of MATE s Tri-layered shield solution for the perimeter, site and access areas, which enhances security of homeland, commercial and industrial facilities. Behavior Watch is built on vast experience, solid technology foundations in the field of video image understanding and efficient, parallel computing for object detection, tracking and event detection. Behavior Watch copes with diverse scenarios and environmental disturbances to provide high probability of detection at extremely low false alarm rate. Behavior Watch s extended functionality includes Scene SwitchTM feature adding video analytics to PTZ cameras or multiple cameras connected via matrix switcher. Scene Switch automatically identifies up to 4 scenes monitored by the same video feed and allows setting video detection rules independently for each such scene. Behavior Watch is interfaced with the MATE CortexTM video analytics management system for setup of video detection rules and device configuration, as well as alarm and video display / playback. Cortex supports an unlimited number of Behavior Watch units.

Ease of Use
Behavior Watch is easy to setup and operate. Relying on advanced scene object learning algorithms, setup by the operator is limited to selecting the appropriate rule, specifying the detection zone and determining the object s size.
Alarm Review and Search Tools
Behavior Watch stores alarm images and descriptions with pre and post alarm video images for event reconstruction. Tracking overlay that designates the object location and its path is stored in synchronization with the video image enhanced investigation. Alarm review can be executed in Instant Replay mode or offline via the Cortex search tools.
Input / Output
An external relay input and output unit connects to Behavior Watch USB port for relay control. The unit is optional.

alarm rates for a walking person or a vehicle are as follows (Values are per camera, averaged on a 30 day period): >> Pd: 95% >> False alarms per day: 1 >> Nuisance alarms per day: 1
Tracking: Behavior Watch tracks up to 20 objects in each camera. Object trajectories are shown as graphic overlay on the live video display and stored for Instant Replay or offline video mining.
Tamper Detection: Behavior Watch detects and notifies of attempts
by unauthorized personnel to spoof, jam or otherwise sabotage the system.
Video and Reference Loss: Behavior Watch detects and notifies
of video signal or reference loss. Camera Support: Behavior Watch supports Black/White, Color, Near InfraRed Thermal, and IP cameras.
