DataBank appliances deliver shared storage resources for centralized environments needing high-capacity protected storage. DataBanks are connected with standard Gigabit Ethernet and discovered automatically. Up to twelve DataBanks can be configured together as a high-performance iSCSI SAN called a RAIGE™ Array. The RAIGE Array is managed as a single pool of shared storage where capacity and performance are automatically load balanced across the DataBank appliances. The RAIGE Array eliminates any single point of failure so that the shared storage is resilient in the face of component failures.
