IP-Intercom Box ET 901 The IP-Intercom box ET 901 establishes the bridge between an ethernet network with IP-protocol and any 2-wire digital or 4-wire analogue Intercom terminal. There are two versions available for analogue and digital Intercom terminals. The ET 901 is designed utilizing the newest DSP technology which enables features such Loudspeaker-Microphone surveillance and Audio Monitoring for any terminal connected (both for
2-wire digital or 4-wire analogue Intercom terminals). Additionally a switch is onboard which allows connection of a further network device to the same ethernet port (i.e. IP-camera). The ET 901 can be upgraded to handle additional inputs and outputs with a EB2E2A. For connection in the Intercom Server G7-DSP-IP/G2-DSP-IP cards are required, which can handle up to 8 IP-subscribers each.

Installation PRECAUTIONS
CONNECTION
• The ET 706 is not compatible with the ET 901-D / ET 901HE-D / ET 901WP-D!
Connection diagram for ET 901-D / ET 901-A; ET 901WP-D / ET 901WP-A; ET 901HE-D / ET 901HE-A: ET 901-D: 24 VAC at the terminals C, D (e.g. for power supply of a EE 880, EE 380)
• Observe the precautions for handling of electrostatic sensitive devices! • The devices may only be installed by authorised service engineers.
Attention: this setting at a ET 901-A can damage the connected terminal station!

Because of the switch function up to 4 ET 901 / ET 901WP / ET 901HE can be linked in series (or other IP-devices, e.g. PC). Attention: When in use of PoE,
The ET 901 can be mounted in a rack with the top hat rail clamp ET901-HSH35 (not in extent of supply):
• each of the up to 3 additional IP-boxes/PCBs linked in series have to be supplied separately by an external power supply unit. • stations with the requirement for an external power supply (e.g. EE 880, EE 380) may not be supplied over the terminals C,D (→ external power supply unit required).
MOUNTING ET 901HE By means of this rail clamp, the housing of the IP-Intercom box can be installed upright or flat to the rail in a vertical or horizontal position.
For mounting of ET 901HE at existing installations an adapter print ETADAPT is available (not in extent of supply).
