3 Kishwauketoe 5K Cross Country

Run – The course will follow the grass trails in Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy through hills, woods and prairie. The race will have a mass start at 8 a.m. Parking will be available at the Lions’ Fieldhouse parking lot on Highway 67 across the street from the entrance. 4 Delavan Lake boat tour – Enjoy Delavan Lake aboard one of Lake Lawn Resort’s double decker tour boats – the 76 foot Lake Lawn Queen or the 31 foot fully open air Lake Lawn Princess. During this 1.5hour guided tour you’ll see the architecture of several Frank Lloyd Wright homes and learn the history of this 1900-acre glacier cut lake. Recurring weekly on Sunday, Saturday. 3 p.m. -4:30 p.m. for all June, August and September dates, and Sundays in July; 1 p.m. -2:30 p.m. for Saturdays in July

13 Children’s Fishing Lessons – The Geneva Lake Conservancy teams up with Helen Rohner Fishing Park to present this program each Tuesday. Participants will meet at the Fishing Park, located at 159 Elkhorn Road in Williams Bay. Participants must register in advance by visiting genevalakeconservancy.org. 15-18 Elkhorn Ribfest – Four days of fun for the whole family, including ribs, brisket, chicken, pulled pork, and more. This event features nationally renowned BBQ chefs, live music, artisan village, carnival rides and other events. Live entertainment each day (see full story inside this edition). Held at the Walworth County Fairgrounds, Elkhorn.

17 Beer Barons of Lake Geneva

Cruise – Enjoy an afternoon cruising Geneva Lake while learning about the history of the beer barons who vacationed and lived along its shores. Once at Black Point Estate, guests will be treated to a program and beer tasting of beers unique to the region. Cruises depart at 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. from the Riviera Dock 812 Wrigley Drive, Lake Geneva. Contact Lake Geneva Cruise Line at 262-248-6206 for tickets. Tickets are $68.00 per person.

Walking Tour – Learn about Lake Geneva’s famously designed buildings by architects including Daniel Burnham, Frank Lloyd Wright and William Le Baron Jenny, as well as the colorful past of the downtown and the historic Maple Park neighborhoods.
