‘Tis the season

Palmyra’s annual Christmas Parade, which is sponsored by the Lions Club, features a variety of entries, many with colorful lighted displays. Shown in a past parade are members of the Palmyra-Eagle FFA Chapter, and a group of horseback riders. The parade, held in early December, travels down Main Street to 5th Street. Judges choose the most creative non-Santa entry and the following year, the winner has the honor of having Santa on their float. After, all are invited to stop by Squidy’s to warm up and purchase food from the Lions.
