Fair Board Members

Dear Fair Family and Friends,

Hopefully, everyone has had a great year since we last met up. We want to welcome you back again to the county fair season. The Fair board members and superintendents at the Logan County Fair have been working together since the conclusion of the 2022 fair to make this year’s fair another one to remember, including everything from revamping schedules to adding more and more classes for each of you to find your spot within the fair.

We are looking at a few changes again this year, so as each of you read through this year’s fair book, you will see a few changes and additions. So please read closely in the areas you choose to be a part of and make sure you note the changes that will take place this year.

Regarding the week’s entertainment, we look forward to having Pride Amusements back as our carnival entertainment this year. This year will be their 6th year working with us and their 5th year on our grounds (thanks to the pandemic) as our carnival entertainment. We look forward to what they offer us again this year. We also plan to add musical entertainment for your viewing and listening pleasure. Plans are still in the works and will be announced later. Be on the lookout for this as we release who we will showcase and when they will be on the stage.

Again this year, we plan to have a barn full of animals showcasing all the hard work of the 4-H & FFA kids participating in livestock projects from across Logan County. Make sure to pay close attention to the schedule of events as we have decided to listen to each of your suggestions and have brought back all animals to stay in the barns all week so not a single person misses the animals of choice, that they may come to see in the past and may have missed them due to how we had segregated small and large animals. With this change, please be cautious as you make your way through the barns because they will be loaded up with animals and very tight to move through. Be safe and do not touch animals without first asking the exhibitors about each animal.

Our ladies inside the Exhibit Hall have revamped, added, and taken out classes for all arts, crafts, and home economic items. Look closely at each class to see if changes may affect you or your entries.

Finally, I’d like to thank all our volunteers, sponsors, and contributors who make this fair possible every year. If it weren’t for the support from each one of you, this whole week would not be possible.

Come out this year, see what we offer, and enjoy everything at the Logan County Fair, Where There’s Fun for The Whole Herd!!

Wes Howard, Fair Board President
