Geraldine Bulldogs fall in Regional Semifinal

Varsity Boys took the 15-14 lead in the first period of play. Geraldine controlled the second period out scoring Piedmont 19-9, to go into intermission with a 34-23 advantage.

Piedmont outscored Geraldine 22-15 in the third period. Piedmont scored 20 points in the fourth to win the semifinal 65-50.

JACKSONVILLE, Ala.-- The Geraldine Bulldogs (20-13) were defeated by the Piedmont Bulldogs

(25-5) in the Class 3A

Northeast Regional Semifinals at the Pete Mathews Coliseum of Jacksonville State University on Monday, February 20.

During the game, the score was tied three times. The game lead also changed three times.

Piedmont will face the Plainview Bears on Thursday, February 23 at 10:45 am in the Regional Finals.
