Academy Varsity Girls defeated Chilton on Saturday, February 25, to win the ACAA DIV 2 State Basketbll Championship.

The Plainview Bears had a 30-23 lead at halftime. In the third quarter, they gained a 50-31 advantage over the Bulldogs. Piedmont and Plainview both scored 17 points in the fourth quarter. Landon White led the Plainview Bears with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Jonah Williams had four three-pointers and a total of seventeen points for the game. Dylan Haymon had thirteen points and two three-pointers.
