SPOTLIGHT ON ROLEX

A classic reborn

This new model from Rolex features a distinct floral face.

THE OYSTER PERPETUAL DATEJUST 31 in Oystersteel and white gold is a real beauty. It features an azzuro-blue fl oral motif, a diamond-set dial and an oyster bracelet. The aesthetic is elegant, and although the design is new, the timepiece has managed to hold onto the tradition for which the Datejust is known.

A DISTINCTIVE LOOK

The dial on the new Datejust model is its most distinctive feature. It boasts 24 diamonds in 18-carat gold settings and a beautiful fl oral motif in blue for a splash of colour. The fl oral motif is reminiscent of springtime energy and combines three di erent fi nishes: sunray, matt and grained. The unique motif was created using high-technology fi nishing techniques, and its textural e ect is enhanced by the carefully placed diamonds, which vary in size and illuminate the centre of each fl ower.

ALWAYS TIMELESS

The design and colour may bring a fresh energy, but the watch itself is timeless. The overall aesthetic and functions align with the original Datejust, a classic timepiece fi rst launched in 1945 and one of the most recognisable o erings from Rolex.

THE TECHNICAL SIDE

The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 comes with an Oystersteel and white gold case and is fi tted with a fl uted bezel. The case is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres, while the middle case is crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel, a particularly corrosion-resistant alloy. The Oyster bracelet seamlessly combines form and function – comfortable and robust without compromising on aesthetic beauty.
