Eric Fell Learning Resource Centre

The Eric Fell Learning Resource Centre (EFLRC) is situated in Humber Building and provides a welcoming environment both for study and recreational use.

Resources Available

We have approximately 11,000 fiction, non fiction and reference books available for students to access. Other facilities and materials available include: newspapers, magazines, DVDs audio books, laptops, photocopier and printer usage.

Stationery Shop

The EFLRC offers a stationery shop where students can purchase any supplies they may need throughout the school day by using the Biometric system. Examples of items sold include: pens, pencils, pencil cases, art books, scientific calculators, compasses, protractors, rubbers, rulers and colouring pencils.

Opening Hours

The EFLRC provides a supervised study space for all students during the following hours subject to change:

Monday 8.30am - 5pm Tuesday 8.30am - 5pm Wednesday 8.30am - 5pm Thursday 8.50am - 5pm Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Please note the Library is closed between 12.45pm - 1.15pm for lunch.

In addition to providing study space, educational and recreational resources, and access to laptops and a printer, the EFLRC also facilitates a number of activities throughout the year, including inductions to using the EFLRC, a book fair, World Book Day activities, competitions, and the opportunity for those students who are interested to volunteer as student librarians.
