OPP traffic blitz nets 38 charges

LEAMINGTON - On August 27, 2020, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) and the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team, conducted a traffic enforcement initiative in the Municipality of Leamington.

In response to recent traffic complaints in the areas of Highway 77, Mersea Road 3, Bevel Line and the intersections of Danforth at Carolina Woods and Seacliff at Cherry Lane, focused patrols resulted in 38 charges, which included 18 stop sign violations, 15 speeding violations, four commercial motor vehicle related violations and one other Highway Traffic Act violation.
