Kingsville Open Streets

Eleven-year-old Eva Vank keeps her bicycle steady as she gets over a ramp at the OPP Bicycle Rodeo at Kingsville’s Open Streets on Saturday, August 20. Several youngsters got bicycle safety tips and were able to manoeuvre through the obstacle course before rain put a damper on the activities. The program was sponsored by the OPP, Kingsville Community Centre and Kingsville Cycle Works.

Kingsville Open Streets provided lots of activities for youngsters on Saturday, August 20. The rain held off long enough for more than a dozen children to attend the Ontario Provincial Police Bicycle Rodeo in partnership with the municipality, Kingsville Community Centre and Kingsville Cycle Works. In the photo below, three-year-old Becky Bruce was enjoying catching bubbles with a hula hoop on Saturday afternoon at the Kingsville Open Streets event. Open Streets runs Saturdays 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., depending the on weather, until September 3.
