Kingsville extends Fantasy of Lights

KINGSVILLE — The Town of Kingsville is extending the Fantasy of Lights Festival by keeping the lights on at Lakeside Park and Cottam Rotary Park until January 26.

The festival was initially set to conclude on January 4.

“We could all use a little extra brightness in our lives right now,” said Kingsville Mayor Nelson Santos. “We hope people will see this as a good opportunity to spend more time enjoying the park with their family, get some much-needed exercise, and experience the mental health benefits associated with both those activities.”

Lights and decorations throughout the town will also remain up. The Kingsville Express train will not be operating due to current provincial restrictions.

The town reminds park visitors that outdoor groups are limited to ten people and asks everyone to maintain appropriate social distancing.
