Vehicle hits store in Kingsville

KINGSVILLE — On Monday, June 14, at 12:30 a.m., members of the Kingsville OPP Detachment, Essex-Windsor Paramedic Services and firefighters from Kingsville Fire Department responded to a crash scene located on Main Street East in Kingsville, where a vehicle had crashed through the wall of a convenience store.

There were two occupants in the vehicle. One of the occupants was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the second occupant was transported with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. Members of the OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) team attended the scene to assist Essex County OPP with this incident.

Main Street East between Division Street and Spruce Street was closed for a number of hours for the collision investigation.
