Illicit cannabis bust in Kingsville

KINGSVILLE – On November 16, the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and members of the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a Cannabis Act search warrant at a greenhouse in the 1000 block of Road 2 East in Kingsville.

As a result of the investigation, 4,000 illicit cannabis plants were seized along with approximately 10 pounds of cannabis bud. The investigation is ongoing.
