ESHC continues pediatric assessment

LEAMINGTON — Erie Shores HealthCare will be holding Pediatric COVID-19 Assessment Clinics for youth under 17 on Tuesdays and Thursdays until October 7.

The clinics, held at the hospital, will run from 8 am until noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will not require an appointment.

If you believe your child under 17 has COVID symptoms, you can show up at the clinic to be assessed.

COVID-19 symptoms include fever or chills, nasal congestions or runny nose, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, poor appetite, new loss of taste or smell and belly pain.

Also a pop-up vaccination clinic is being held at 33 Princess Street in Leamington, in the parking lot on October 8. Anyone age 12 and up can receive a first or second dose of mRNA vaccine without an appointment. The clinic is open from 11 am to 7 pm.
