Brewery celebrates grand opening

LEAMINGTON — Cured Craft Brewing Company in uptown Leamington was finally able to celebrate their grand opening this week with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, September 27.

Lisa and Scott Bradt, owners of Bradt’s Butcher Block, launched the idea in 2016 and were able to break ground at the Gregory Building on Mill Street West in the summer of 2019.

Two weeks before their scheduled opening, the COVID pandemic hit and shut everything down.

The Bradts were able to open last year and have now been able to hold their grand opening.

Lisa Bradt gave an emotional speech about the challenges they’ve faced along the way, thanking her family, staff, patrons and the municipality for all their help.
