20 new trees planted at The Bridge

LEAMINGTON — The Bridge Youth Resource Centre got some shade last week as Home Building Centre Leamington partnered with Trees Canada to plant 20 trees on the property on Sherk Street.

Donald Craig of Trees Canada says that the organization has been around since 1994 and have planted over 82 million trees across Canada.

They partner with companies such as Home Hardware, Harveys and CN.

The Home Hardware group, which includes Leamington Home Building Centre, donated $2,900 to Trees Canada to get the trees delivered to The Bridge on Friday, September 24, where several staff members joined The Bridge team to plant the trees.
