Public Board unveiling new K-12 school in Kingsville

KINGSVILLE — Kingsville and Harrow area residents will have a chance to view and comment on the recently completed design and plans for the new K-12 school being built in Kingsville, just off Jasperson Lane, near Kingsville Arena.

Because of restrictions on public gatherings, the presentation will be provided online through a link posted on the GECDSB website, www.publicboard.ca, which will go live at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21st.

Anyone wishing to comment, ask questions or make suggestions will be able to do so through e-mail. The presentation will include a video prepared by the architects, Architecttura Inc. and information from GECDSB Capital Projects Department staff.

The 196,955 square foot Kingsville K-12 school will be built for 1,045 elementary and 753 secondary students. There will also be dedicated space for a community day care. It will replace Kingsville District High School, Jack Miner PS and Kingsville PS. Graduates of Harrow PS will attend high school at the new school.
