VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! The Gold Rush Cycling Club is a nonprofit society in Quesnel. The primary focus of the GRCC is to maintain, promote and develop cycling in the Quesnel and surrounding area. A GRCC membership is only $20 and is for cyclists and trail users (runners/ hikers). Trail maintenance is an essential part of ensuring that the Quesnel area trail system is well used and attracts visitors. Cyclists and trail users want a great trail network and it is with the support of hardworking volunteers that the trail network can be all that it can be. Trail networks don’t happen with magic, it needs a dedicated group of volunteers. If you know the thrill of riding (or running) beautifully

built and maintained trail and want to have that experience right here in Quesnel the club is keen to have you participate. Plenty of upgrading and additions have taken place throughout this summer. The club has a few more dates where there are planned trail maintenance and they would be pleased to see you out on the trails lending your hands to help build an amazing community asset. Good trails are simply just not possible when we only have the hands of a few. This is where you all come in! No experience is necessary, just the willingness to bust a sweat with a good attitude.

What’s in it for you? Well, stellar riding and running conditions of course! But in addition to that, GRCC will be tracking volunteer hours over the season. Those cumulative hours will get you entries into draws for fabulous prizes, including bike carriers, t-shirts, and more. The more hours you volunteer, the more entries you get into the draws, the more chances you have to win! WHAT TO BRING: Shovels, metal & wire rakes, clippers, chainsaws (sometimes, and only if you know how to use it without taking off body parts), brush cutters, gloves, hat, waterbottle, snacks, bug spray, and hardy footwear WONDERLAND & DRAGON NETWORK (every other Tuesday starting at 5:30pm)
