Scenic fall photography by Heather Tradd

Marshfield resident Heather Tradd has a passion for landscape and nature photography. Living close to the beach, she heads out to take pictures nearly every morning at sunrise, and often again at sunset when the landscape is bathed in golden light. Fall is one of her favorite seasons to explore the South Shore in search of scenic photo opportunities. Her photo collection features numerous seaside sunsets and surprising autumn pops of color at places like Jacob’s Pond in Norwell, Bay Farm in Duxbury and Norris Reservation in Norwell. Tradd recently began taking photos using a drone, which has allowed her to capture even more unique perspectives of the South Shore.

“Photography is my creative outlet,” says Tradd. “The community of photographers on the South Shore is great. I’ve met a lot of talented and really nice people.” To view more examples of her work, follow Heather Tradd on Instagram @heather.tradd.
