The answer is yes! South Texas Tack has a beer and wine bar located in the store.

In late 2019, the Bar Nothing Bar was born. The bar is the first of its kind in retail, offering a unique shopping experience with a little hospitality. Enjoying a glass of wine or a soda while you shop takes the shopping atmosphere to the next level.

The Bar Nothing Bar is nestled in the far West side of the building, next to the hat department, where the outside courtyard can be easily accessed. The lounge area that accompanies the bar can seat up to fifty people and the courtyard is unlimited.

While the bar favorite is the Wine-a-Rita, South Texas Tack introduced much more than that. The Bar Nothing Bar offers a variety of beer, wine, Wine-A-Rita’s, slushes and Starbucks coffees so that there is something for every age group to enjoy. The local Texas wine selection can be noted as one of the best in Washington County with a selection of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Riesling, Pinot and dessert wines. The Bar Nothing Bar partners with local wineries for scheduled wine tastings throughout the year. All wine tastings are open to the public and groups of any size are welcome.
