John Costi: Found football difficult

South London Gallery’s 12th Postgraduate Artist in Residence

John Costi’s practice is rooted in healing and transformation. Titled Found Football Difficult, a quote from one of his childhood school reports, the exhibition in the SLG’s Fire Station features new work made during Costi’s six-month residency. The show explores life and loss through sculpture, sound, scent, and Costi's personal archives

A tragic suicide. Two young Black lives are blown apart. In the madness of grief, Matthew and Chantel find each other again and wonder what their shared future might hold. All Roads is a new play by Roy Williams exploring what it means to love, grieve and build your own future, being young Black British today.
