Inspiration


Brand Identity Logo Type Museum of The Moving Image’s new identity reflects its vision and underlines its commitment to artistic quality

as well as its cultural engagement. The word mark’s edgy play of letters positions the museum as challenging and

contemporary. It also offers inspiration for future, and the spirit of the museum’s architecture.


Color Through three Pantone Colors, esPANTONE Color Standard. Black, pecially stands for primary color for Orange, Magenta, Sky blue screen, it can reinforce the identity of Museum of the Moving Image. Official color system is based on

Typography Museum of the Moving Image uses Futura as an official typeface. It is modern geometric typeface but still has long history.

Futura is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed in 1927 by Paul Renner. Futura has an appearance of efficiency and forwardness. The typeface is derived from simple geometric forms and is based on strokes

of near-even weight, which are low in contrast. This is most visible in the almost perfectly round stroke of the o, which is nonetheless slightly avoid.
