Artist Bios
JON FREEMAN holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the Ohio State University, and a Master of
Arts in Applied Linguistics from Ohio University. He began his career as an intern for Pacific Pharmaceuticals. However, his experiences on the Faro Island marketing campaign led him to seek a more tranquil line of work. Jon is currently employed with the international non-profit organization World Children’s Land, where he promotes perfect peace.
FRANKIE B. WASHINGTON is a freelance illustrator and 1991 graduate from the Boston-based
Butera School of Art. His professional career spans twenty years in advertising, film, animation, and print. He has worked with Upper Deck on their Marvel Comics licensed projects, as well on the highly anticipated Transformers trading card set. His love for giant robots and kaijus has afforded him the opportunity to work on Sunstone Games’ official Kaiju Combat Rookie Card Set. Frankie is the artist and co-creator of the comic ROBOT GOD AKAMATSU, and recently completed a six issue limited series. The Jet Jaguar: Agent of Seatopia pitch has allowed him the rarest chance to work on a Godzilla related project - a dream accomplished.
JAMES BIGGIE
is a graphic designer currently working in the advertising industry. His professional comic work includes covers for IDW’s GI JOE, and upcoming covers for JUDGE DREDD and GI JOE: SPECIAL MISSIONS. He is writer and co-creator of ROBOT GOD AKAMATSU, a comic book valentine to daikaiju eiga and the super robot genre of the 1970s.
