The City of Water, inspiration for artists, architects, painters and jewellers for centuries, brings its influences to bear on the most beautiful of South Sea pearls in the most seductive of ways. The Venezia collection features precious gemstones blended with exclusive AUTORE South Sea pearls in a luxurious palette of white, yellow and black with hues of pink, blue and green. Representing the blue tones of the Venetian canals and the city’s elaborate architecture, different motives blend together with the shimmering of the rose cut diamonds, rubies, orange sapphires and other precious gems. The patina effects on the Venetian architecture is replicated in the use of ornately cut rustic diamonds in a range of hues from yellow to orange, to brown and grey, as well as briolette beads in black diamond with delicate details of micro set stones. The collection is enhanced with vibrant tones of green Tsavorite, turquoise Paraiba tourmaline, shaded blue sapphires, and the unique cut of aquamarines, customised especially for AUTORE. Inspired by the balconies and gates of the Venetian palaces, this ornate earring design reflects the antique feel of wrought iron, with the use of graduated diamonds from white to champagne to black and rustic complemented by the Tahitian South Sea pearls. The top part of the earrings is taken from the Middle Eastern fleur-de-lys where the outline is a stylisation of the portico arches.
