Bucket Regatta 2019

Space Gallery St Barth official partner of the St Barth Bucket Regatta, 2019 It’s that time of year again, and Space Gallery St Barth is proud to partner with the Bucket Regatta for the third year running to offer the limited edition 2019 poster. The commemorative Bucket Poster will be available for the third year exclusively at the gallery and is the next in the series designed by artist Andy Smith. The poster has become something of a collector’s item for visitors to the island and aficionados of the annual regatta.

As always, Space Gallery St Barth and the Bucket will donate 100% of sales proceeds to a local charity.

Last year 11,200.00 euros was raised and was donated entirely to fund rebuilding projects on island identified by the Collectivity following Hurricane Irma. This year, the St Barth Yacht Club (SBYC) and its Youth Sailing School will be the recipient of all poster sales revenue.

SBYC is an active sailing school and their priority is the youth of St Barths. They offer many programs starting at very early ages. On an island, learning to sail is as important as learning to swim. Over 400 children participate every year. Here the children learn to respect each other and their environment, the sea. They also learn how to be responsible and cooperative in the pursuit of their goals.

SBYC is not a conventional yacht club. Resources and budgets are far more limited than what one would expect to find in a typical club. The Bucket donations make a significant and meaningful difference.

The poster is a limited edition and due to popular demand, the number of posters available has been increased to 200 editions offered for sale this year. The poster is priced at 80 euros and they will officially go on sale from 4pm on Friday 15th March, directly at the gallery in the Carré D’Or.
