Student Union

Our new Student Union and Learning Center will be the centralized place for our students to unite, grow, and collaborate. New features meet the high demand for tutoring and academic assistance services, including spaces for group and focused study, a 24/7 cafe, updated bookstore, and an expanded veterans center.

The Empire State Vii

Your student could be among the first to study on the nation’s first National Security Multi-Mission Vessel. Featuring an entirely new design and class of vessel, this 524.5-foot-long revolutionary ship is optimized to be a training platform and a national disaster response vessel, complete with a helicopter landing pad, eight classrooms, a full training bridge, workshops, lab spaces, and an auditorium.

The William Austen Marine Education And Seamanship Center

Our top-of-the-line waterfront Seamanship Center features a brand new marine environmental science wet lab, in which we pump seawater directly from the East River into tanks for our students to conduct water quality analyses, observe organisms, and study aquatic systems. The second floor of this environmentally friendly facility supports seamanship training for both students and professional mariners, contributing to statewide workforce development and skill-building initiatives.
