From This Moment... Sparth House, as the name suggests, was originally as a family home. Now a hotel but in the hands of a family and run by that family. We believe that the journey to your wedding day is an exciting but sometimes daunting process and we want to be there to support you through it all. We understand that every wedding and civil ceremony is unique and the memories created on the day will last forever. That is why our experienced and dedicated team are committed to providing you with as much help as you require when planning your special day. By the time its your big day you will be a part of the Sparth House Hotel family, and we only wish the best for our family.

All the friends and family who came were also buzzing with the whole thing and said how lovely the food was and the great service and what a lovely vibe Sparth House has. The woodlands ceremony room refurb also added to the wow factor and both this and the Alexander Suite where we held the reception looked stunning as did the beautiful grounds which form a lovely backdrop for the photos. Im so glad we chose Sparth House for the big day, its a stunning location with a friendly vibe and beautiful function rooms, with superb staff who deliver great customer service non stop throughout the big day and during the morning after with a mouthwatering breakfast.

We’ll give you a tour of the house and gardens Then, over coffee, we can talk through your plans for your wedding day. Whether you only have the faintest whisper of an idea, or have been planning every detail of your wedding since you were ten year’s old, our team will know exactly how to develop your vision from an abstract thought into a beautiful celebration. We have three elegant rooms available for weddings and Civil Ceremonies, all decorated in their own individual styles, each one perfect in its own way. Whichever you choose, you can be assured of the style and service that will live up to your hopes and dreams. The Alexandra Suite With seating up to 110 guests, with an adorning conservatory which leads through to the hotel’s secluded rear garden, and patio area, all of which makes this suite an ideal setting for your wedding, from daytime through to evening, with the capacity to hold up to 200 guests for the evening reception. The Woodlands Suite With seating for up to 80 guests, The Woodlands Suite overlooking the front lawn and the walled garden offers luxury surroundings for both day and evening reception, with the capacity for 175 guests in the evening. The Regency Room Ideal for smaller weddings for up to 40 guests, the Regency Room is adjacent to the lounge and bar facilities in the main house.

GROUP BEDROOM BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION POLICY Guests may book directly with reservation on a first come first served. At the time of booking guests must state they are attending the wedding to receive the discount. Credit cards are required to guarantee a booking. A non-refundable deposit of £25.00 is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance upon check out Although we will try our best to accommodate an early check in its not always possible. Subject to availability we can offer special rates for guests requiring rooms the day before the wedding. All double rooms are based 2 people sharing.

Payment, terms and conditions PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Initial Deposit (to be paid within 2 weeks of making booking) £650.00 Further Deposit (to be paid 6 months prior to date) £25.00 per head Final Balance (to be paid 28 days prior to event) We are now offering an EASY PAYMENT SCHEME with any package booked, please see details below or ask our Wedding Co-ordinator for more details. Initial Deposit ( to be paid within 2 weeks of making booking) £650.00 Final Payment (to be paid 28 days prior to event) 20% of remaining package balance Standing order (remainder of total package price, split into equal monthly payments up to one month before the event)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Once you have decided on the date, a provisional booking will be held for up to 14 days, after which time the date should be confirmed or released.. To secure the date we require a non-returnable deposit of £650.00 to secure your required date. Minimum numbers will apply on certain dates, please enquire when making the booking. If under minimum numbers, a room hire charge may be applicable. A further deposit is required six months prior to the date of your function, at £25.00 per head. The projected balance is to be settled no later than twenty- eight days prior to the function on receipt of the invoice. One month prior to the function we would request that you contact us to finalise details for the day. Final numbers are required no later than 96 hours prior to your function, after this date no refunds will be given. CANCELLATION POLICY – On confirmation, all deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation received six months prior to the function will result in a charge of 50% of the estimated function account; 4 months prior 75%; 2 months prior the total cost of the function will be payable. We advise wedding insurance. Menu Selection – Menus should be chosen on the basis of all guests selecting the same dish, although we are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements or vegetarians. Choice menus are available at a additional charge please contact us to discuss your requirements. Half adult portions and children’s meals are also available. Menu Prices are fully inclusive of V.A.T. at the appropriate rate. We will be pleased to advise you on your seating arrangements etc..., and will work with you on your arrangements so that your wedding day is everything you could wish for. No drugs/drink/food can be brought onto the premises for personal consumption. Management reserve the right to confiscate these items and guests will be escorted off the premises. The hotel does not accept responsibility for any item or gifts brought onto the premises. (This includes the car park) After contacting all our suppliers, we have been advised that no item on our menu contains G.M ingredients. We will be monitoring this and will inform you should any changes take effect.

Secured Date – To be completed at the time of payment of non- returnable deposit) Payment received of £650.00 Further deposit of £25.00 per head required 6 months prior to the date of your function. On receipt of final invoice the projected balance is to be settled no later than 28 days prior to your function. 1 months prior to your wedding we request that you contact us to finalise details for your day. We request final numbers are required no later than 96 hours prior to your function – after this date no refunds will be given. Any entertainment acts (DJ or Bands etc) that are sourced by the Bride & Groom, must have valid Public Liability Insurance and produce proof of this to the hotel at least one month before the function date.
