Waterco Product Alert Memo

On 28 July 2020, the Australian Pesticide and Veterinary Medicine Authority (APVMA) made a decision to cancel the registration and label approvals for certain products, including some of Waterco’s products.

Waterco was always of the view that the decision was unlawful and ultimately commenced proceedings to have the decision set aside.

On 17 February 2021, the APVMA consented to orders being made setting aside the cancellation decision and re-instating the registration and label approvals for the affected products, including Waterco’s products.

The orders made by the court confirm Waterco’s view that the cancellation decision was unlawful and should never have been made.

Waterco can now continue selling and distributing their hydrogen peroxide based products without any restriction.
