Mission statement The mission of Saint-Petersburg Christian University is to provide accredited higher education based on evangelical values. In all aspects of university life, SPbCU aims to create an environment which provides for spiritual growth and the achievement of academic excellence. Following the call of the Triune God, SPbCU prepares Christians to serve and lead in the church and in society.

Rector’s Message
Currently, SPbCU is one of the leading Evangelical academic institutions in the territory of the former Soviet Union. We have close ties with Christian congregations, religious organizations, and leading academic centers in and outside of our country. We are open to new connections and partnerships for mutual enrichment and spiritual edification and assistance in a better understanding of the Christian way of life. Christian pedagogical work and research in our University comes from the premise that the Divine is only partly known to us, while, at the same time, we know the Truth which allows us to answer urgent questions of Christian congregations (and of society as a whole). This also allows us to form models and methods of various practices for service to the Church and society. The pedagogical efforts of SPbCU are aimed at the interpretation of studies, the contextualization of learning tools, the practical implementation in life, and the transformation of the character of the faculty and students. Our professors not only understand and deepen the foundations of their disciplines but also improve their understanding of their students, their past, present and, especially, their future. We see our students not as temporary clients, but as permanent friends, and work to create a comfortable environment for their intellectual, professional, and spiritual development.

International Program Students and professors will be provided with living space in the University dorm and access to the library and Internet. You will get a splendid opportunity to take part in the spiritual life of Russian believers, visiting University chapels, local Christian communities, and Orthodox liturgies. The University provides visitors with visa support.
