Fondue Fun In the 18th century, creating a way to utilize hardened cheese and bread, the Swiss melted the cheese, added wine and dunked bread cubes in the mixture. The name itself came from the French word “fonder” which means to melt. We will create fondues from around the world: traditional cheese, classic Swiss cheese, beef bourguignonne, crab, bleu cheese and tempura. Of course we’ll have time for dunking fruit, cake or brownies in dessert fondues. There will be a variety of sauces and dips to round out the menu.

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Wednesday - Monday, October 3-8 Course# 8045-SSA
Come along with us as we travel through the Rocky Mountains on into New Mexico’s Land of Enchantment and the International Baloon Festival. We will fly into Denver and travel by deluxe motorcoach along the Front Range to Colorado Springs where we will visit Pike’s Peak and the Garden of the God’s. Thursday afternoon we will continue our trip via Santa Fe, known as The City of the Holy Faith. The oldest and highest capitol city in the country, we will enjoy a narrated tour aboard a open air tram. Here at the end of the famed Santa Fe Trail is the Palace of the Governors and the Historic Plaza. Santa Fe is the second largest art market in the world after Paris and boasts many museums and galleries. Friday we’re off to Albuquerque, sure to be the highlight of our trip. Saturday morning our spirits will soar as we attend the International Balloon Festival and whitness wave after wave of these silent, colorful airships lift off into the early morning sky. See as many as 500 beautiful balloons at once posing aloft for the most photographed event in the world. Spend the morning amidst the activities and sights at the Fiesta Field. Then in the evening, witness the sight of hundreds of tethered balloons lit from within like giant holiday ornaments! Balloon Glow is perhaps the most spectacular single moment in all of Balloon Fiesta. This is followed by New Mexico’s most spectacular fireworks display!
