Virtual Mastery Class Instructor Checklist 48-Hours+ Before the FIRST Class: □ Review the Logistics Email from your School Support Manager -- including identifying contact information for the school or program and verifying access to your Kaltura room. ◆ Reach out to the contact at least 48 hours before the first day of class to introduce yourself. The school contact should have received an email from the SSM with their classroom link. Confirm that the contact has their link. ◆ Confirm the start and end time (in their timezone) of the class and that students have access to their books. ◆ If you do not receive a logistics email within 48 hours, your SSM is listed in the notes section of the event in Sling. Reach out to them via Slack to get the information you need. ◆ If your class time/dates changes, you will be notified in Sling. Reach out to Brenda if you are unable to fit the new class times into your schedule. □ Ensure you have received and are able to access and edit the course’s Data Tracker. □ Instruction Support will send you your Sequence. □ Share the Data Tracker directly from Google Sheets with the school/program contact(s); as a reminder, follow these steps to do that: (1) click the top right button labeled Share (2) input their email (3) change Editor to Commenter (4) hit Send. ◆ Email the contact the PDF Attachments of the ACT Standard Families OR SAT Content Dimensions so they can better understand the items listed in the data tracker. 24-Hours Before EACH Class: □ Setup the Kaltura room and load the playlist. ◆ Powerpoints to SAT and ACT Mastery Classes □ Sub Protocols - If you subbed out your class, follow up with the sub to ensure they’re good to go. □ Reach out to your trainer or coach if you have any questions regarding instruction. Day 1 of Class Series:


□ Pre/Post Testing: If you need more information regarding pre/post testing, please reach out to your SSM to ensure that the customer has purchased this package. Not all mastery classes have pre/post testing. ◆ If the school has purchased the ready package, your students may be pre-testing the first day of class. Divide the roster of students into groups of 4 and assign each group a section of the pre-test to take in this class period. ***note on roster which students took which pre-test in class ● Students will be responsible for finishing the remaining sections for homework within the week. ● ACTM Pre-Test: 17A and SATM Pre-Test: SAT Bubble Sheet 1 □ If Pre-Testing is NOT noted on your Sequence or your Logistics, start Day 1 with the first lesson listed on your Sequence. During EACH Class: □ MAKE it AWESOME! After EACH Class: □ Fully complete the Data Tracker, including the Entrance Ticket/Warm-Up and Exit Ticket/Wrap-Up data, and a short narrative in the Other Notes section (with attention to grammar). □ Setup the Kaltura room for the next class. Mid-way Point of the Class Series: □ Have students complete the student evaluation: Class/Event Evaluation □ Wrap-up form can be completed by the instructor to give the instruction Admin Team information on how the class is going. This link for the wrap-up form can be found in your logistics email. End of Class Series: □ Have students complete the student evaluation: Class/Event Evaluation □ Submit the wrap up form again using the same link □ If the school has purchased the ready platform, students will test on the last day of class. (This will be noted in your logistics and sequence) ◆ look at roster and whatever pre-test students took for the pre-test is the section they will take for the post-test ◆ Students will be responsible for finishing the remaining sections of the post-test for homework within the week. ◆ ACTM post-test: 17B and SATM post-test: SAT Bubble sheet 3
