WORKING ACROSS WILTSHIRE As a key partner in Wiltshire’s new Music Education Hub, Wiltshire Music Connect, Wiltshire Music Centre has continued its active engagement in a variety of creative learning, education and community projects, with thousands of people of all ages involved in inspiring new musical experiences.
The Wider Opportunities project continued in primary schools across the county. Nicola Benedetti gave a master-class at the Centre to pupils from Trowbridge who had recently started to play the violin (Dec 2012); and the Heath Quartet and Onyx Brass visited a total of 13 schools (May / Jun 2013) to inspire pupils with engaging demonstrations and interactive participation workshops examining the groups’ instruments.

Access
All 300 seats in our purpose-built concert hall have unrestricted views of the stage. The auditorium was designed for excellent sound quality.

For Braille users there are tactile signs throughout the Centre. People with hearing difficulties or impairments can use the Centre’s induction loops at the bar, Box Office and at pre-concert talks. The auditorium has an infrared system. Please ask at the Box Office for headphones or a portable neck loop. Guide dogs / Assisting dogs are very welcome. Please ask if you require this brochure OR CONCERT PROGRAMME in a LARGE PRINT format.

Wiltshire Music Centre is located on the Bath side of Bradford on Avon, is clearly sign-posted (brown panel signs) on all roads and has two free car parks – one off Ashley Road, and the other, with accessible parking bays, off Winsley Road / ‘Churches’ (road). The Centre shares a site with St Laurence School when asking for directions. Bradford on Avon Train Station is a 20 minute (uphill) walk or short taxi ride away: firstgreatwestern.co.uk Bradford on Avon Taxis is located in the Train Station car park: 01225 862 277.
