Frequently Asked Questions What is the difference between the member and non-member rate for classes? Any student enrolled in individual services at Spectrum (instruction or therapy) can enjoy a discounted 20% off member rate on all group classes and programming! What’s the difference between individual therapy, adapted lessons, and traditional lessons? Therapy services are directed towards meeting very specific, and usually non-artistic goals such as developing social skills, reducing anxiety, or supporting academic material. Our therapists assess each of their clients individually as well as document progress on set goals and objectives. Adapted lessons are for students who require additional support with the learning and skills acquisition process from a teacher with specialized training in adapting approaches for different learning styles. Our traditional lessons are individually tailored to each of our students’ unique learning styles, and taught by one of our highly-qualified music and art instructors. How do I register for services? You can easily register for our services on online at www.spectrumcreativearts.org, over the phone, or in-person at our community center. I’m interested in services, but how can i figure out what would be the best fit? If you’re interested in services for you or your child, but aren’t sure where to start, we encourage you to schedule a complimentary tour/informational meeting with one of our staff!
