Minimal Pairs, Auditory Bombardment, and Discrimination Activity
/r/ Discrimination Activity: Say both words clearly for the child. Ask your child to tell you if the words are the “same” or “different”. Start by allowing them to see your lips. As this become easier for the child, put a piece of paper in front of your mouth when having him/her discriminate. Next, ask your child to say these words. Then ask him/her to tell you if they heard a difference. Also have your child repeat the words after you and ask him/her to exaggerate each word. Wed Red Wake Rake Wail
