Ai confini del mondo sulla rotta di Magellano Diario di una spedizione straordinaria nell’Isla Madre de Dios Massimiliano Piras CILE Two expeditions, organized by Besenello and Lavis (Trento) Gruppo Grotte Cai - SAT and Cai Cagliari In 2003 and 2006, carried out speleological researches to the island of Madre de Dios (Chilean Patagonian coast). During the first exploration a karstic area in northeastern part of the Island was investigated, here two impressive seaoutlets and many sinks were found. The second expedition was carried out in January 2006, with the aim of continuing the explorations of 2003, leading to the discovery of new caves for about 3000 meters development.
