P R E F A C E Every project is pivotal to my encompassing and continually evolving experience with automotive interiors. I work meticulously to absorb, acknowledge, and respect all aspects of the interior process. I have expertise on projects of all scales, budgets, and constraints: from leading one-off prototypes to mass production projects, from a single piece to over 250,000 vehicles a year. I possess the ability to make products better, safer, more robust, more affordable, and as efficient as possible - without compromising the concept. I have been designing, fabricating, and creating automotive interiors before I could even legally operate a motor vehicle. I was raised a car guy and have spent the better part of my life in an automotive interior shop. When I was a young lad, I would climb into the cars that occupied the shop floor, sink into the seat, grab the wheel, and dream. I would imagine the feeling of driving such amazing machines on the open road, and as a child I only focused on the experience of driving. But, by twelve years old, my entire thought process about the complete automotive experience was altered - for good. I realized the interior environment is as important, if not more so, than the rest of the vehicle. The body is only the shell, but the true heart of any vehicle is not the engine - it is the driver. And the driver’s experience of any car is through the interior: it is the direct, physical connection we have with all automobiles. We touch it, feel it, smell it, see it, and communicate through it. The interior is the cockpit from which we command cars to do what we want; it is the vessel that empowers us to experience the drive. This notion is the basis for my unique obsession with interiors, and is a constant reminder to me throughout the entire design and production process.

M I S S I O N Today, the automotive interior possesses an growing importance in shaping the complete vehicle experience. Each stride toward a self-aware vehicle is transforming the driver’s role to that of a passenger before our eyes. The birth of a fully autonomous automobile warrants and requires a reformation of the vehicle interior architecture - the automotive interior experience, as we know it, will be changed forever. I have dedicated my life, tailored my skills, shaped my education, and accumulated vast experience in the automotive interior industry to be a pioneer of the new interior landscape. All things new and innovative evolve from two actions; dreaming and doing. We are all dreamers, but that is only half of the equation. Most of the dreamers in this world lack the drive, passion, and tenacity to also be a doer. All companies employ dreamers; but the Google family embraces, encourages, and challenges those few who can take a dream and make it real - to mold the unthinkable into the tangible. My name is Spenser Pearson, I am a doer, and I am determined to make our dreams into reality. 1
