Built in 1856, Kingsford The Barossa is a picturesque venue that has been lovingly restored to become one of Australia’s finest luxury retreats – a gem nestled amongst riverbanks and rolling hills, surrounded by beautiful gum trees and the native Australian landscape.
Tucked away and only 45 minutes from the bustling city centre, the iconic 225-acre property is set on the edge of the breathtaking wine country of South Australia. Modern, luxurious and overflowing with timeless character, Kingsford has witnessed countless love stories unfold within its walls and across its sprawling grounds.
Offering a full range of services including planning, catering, operation management and seamless delivery, the team at Kingsford create a stress-free environment where couples can begin their forever. Our dining and function area can seat a maximum of 250 people, and exclusive use includes access to our 13 luxuriously appointed suites on the night of your wedding – eight in the original homestead, one cottage suite and a further four view suites as part of our brand new extension.

SIX MONTHS PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING
As the excitement of your special day continues to build, your dedicated wedding coordinator will reach out to you to schedule an initial meeting and menu tasting. During this meeting we’ll discuss every detail of your wedding, from the culinary delights to the logistical arrangements. This is your opportunity to share your vision with us and we’ll work together to ensure that every aspect of your day reflects your unique style and preferences.
THREE MONTHS PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING
With just three months to go until your wedding day, it’s time to dot the i’s and cross the t’s. You’ll have a final meeting with your wedding coordinator to finalise all the important details, including food and beverage selections, timelines, rooming lists, seating arrangements and supplier information. This meeting ensures that everything is in place for a seamless and unforgettable celebration.
45 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING
As your wedding day draws near, we kindly ask for your final numbers and any dietary requirements from your guests. This information allows us to make the necessary arrangements to accommodate everyone’s needs and preferences, ensuring a delightful dining experience for all.
ONCE RSVP’S ARE RECEIVED
Upon receiving your final numbers and dietary requirements, we’ll prepare your final invoice. This invoice will outline the details of your wedding package and any additional services you’ve selected. We’ll send it to you promptly to review and confirm.
30 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING
As the countdown to your big day reaches its final stretch, it’s time to settle the remaining balance of your invoice. We kindly request that payment is made in full 30 days prior to your wedding date. This ensures that everything is squared away and allows you to focus on enjoying the final moments of anticipation before your magical celebration.
