ACCOMMODATION

With 12 luxuriously appointed suites, Spicers Vineyards Estate is perfect for small groups or private getaways. All five ground floor King Spa Rooms feature French doors opening onto a large veranda, while three first floor rooms boast sweeping vineyard and mountain views. The four Luxury Spa Suites feature separate living areas with bluestone fireplaces and the option of a private courtyard or balcony with stunning views. All rooms and suites are very generously proportioned and feature open fireplaces. Vineyards House is a four bedroom house located separate to the main building featuring a spacious lounge with fireplace, full kitchen and dining area, and private pool.

Pokolbin is nestled in the famous Hunter Valley wine region, just one hour from Newcastle Airport and two hours from Sydney. Private car transfers can be arranged or for those groups with limited time, a charter helicopter transfer to and from Newcastle and Sydney Airports is available.

The Guest Lounge is located centrally in the main guest house with easy access to the suites. This space is ideal for board meetings or discussion groups around the communal table with an adjoining sunken lounge featuring an open fireplace, and windows that open for fresh country air and natural light. The Guest Lounge includes AV equipment and complimentary WiFi. For private dining, the Harvest Room located in Restaurant Botanica offers abundant light and immediate access to the restaurant veranda, with views across the estate’s vineyard and the Brokenback Range.

Avid hikers can choose the length of their adventure from 2, 3 or 4-day tours. The Scenic Rim Trail is an all-inclusive experience with luggage portered daily so all you need to carry is your day pack. The 4-day walk sees you venture to a new luxury eco campsite each night, while the 2-day walk has you settled at Spicers Canopy for the duration. The hikes range from 10 - 18km with an average of 14km per day. A good level of fitness and stability is required to enjoy the mountains, rainforest and Grade 4 - 5 trails.
