Weekly E-Tip Moodle – Using Flickr images in your Moodle courses

3. Adding images into your Moodle courses makes them look more attractive. Did you know that it is so easy to add images using Flickr? Easier and faster than uploading a picture file! And you don’t have to struggle with the resizing.

How do you do it? 1. Find the photo you want to share on Flickr and press the ‘Share this’ button at the top of it, 2. Select the ‘grab HTML code’ option, choose the size you want and copy the code it generates, 3. On your Moodle course select ‘add a resource’, then ‘insert a label’, 4. Click on the HTMIL Toggle button <>, then paste the code in to the box, 5. Press the ‘Save & return to course’ button and that’s done!
