Flag Day Contest

The first place winning rocks from each district will be photographed and sent to a panel of judges to be judged on the state level. All participating youth will have the choice to donate their decorated rock to be displayed at Camp Kubena Rock Garden. The State Fraternal Director or Home Office representative will collect the rocks and see that they are delivered to Camp Kubena.

Judging Entries will be judged by a panel of writing specialists. Judging is based on the entry’s creativity, grammar, and neatness.

Awards All participants will receive a participation certificate. Youth club members will also receive five merit points in the Merit Point System. Winning entries will be published in the Veštník.

Grand Prize Winner $100 gift card and winning entry published in the Veštník. (Youth winning grand prize will not receive entrant category prize.)

Who can enter? SPJST members from grades kindergarten through 12th grade, based on the member’s grade level in the current school year.
