CESAT announces Czech classes at Blinn College

The Czech Ex-Students Association of Texas is pleased to announce the fall schedule of Czech classes at Blinn College at Schulenburg Campus which will be online.

Dual credit and university credit Czech (CZEC 1471) will begin August 24, 2020, and go to December 8, 2020. These classes will be online from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. Monday through Thursday. To register for these classes, call Shannon Williford at 979-209-8228 or email shannon.williford@blinn.edu. Scholarships are available for CZEC 1471.

Beginning Czech

August 24 to December 8 Intermediate Czech

September 17 to November 12 Advanced Czech

2020 Slavic Heritage Festival canceled

The Croatian, Czech, Polish, and Ukrainian members of the Slavic Alliance of Houston regret to say that the annual Sts. Cyril and Methodius Slavic Heritage Festival will not be held this year. All are invited to celebrate their family’s culture and heritage at home on Sunday, September 27 with ethnic food and family recipes, music and dancing, family stories, calls to grandparents and relatives, and virtual meetings, etc. Let’s plan to celebrate the Slavic Festival next year with double energy and merriment.
