We believe public relations means relating to the public. Yes, we are experts in media relations and we truly love the smell of coverage every morning. However, in order to relate truly to the public, we are one of the few PR agencies to have welded social media expertise to the core of our business. 20 years of brand and mobile experience. I have helped the brand and communication strategies for brands like Coca-Cola, Nivea, Smirnoff and Orange. I come with a wealth of technology and telecoms experience. I launched Orange back in the 90’s and have since worked on many tech and mono start ups such as Blyk. But most of all I shall bring my hunger to win. My desire to make sure the best product gets to its rightful throne.
FAVOURITE THING ABOUT MOBILES: Yes, it is my favorite thing. The mobile very simply makes life better. More efficient, more entertaining, more useful, more social.

ELEANOR WHAT I BRING TO THE HTC TEAM: A huge amount of enthusiasm for the mobile industry love and plenty of experience as I’ve been lucky enough to have worked on mobile brands for most of my career including Vodafone, Nokia and Samsung. ZOE WHAT I BRING TO THE HTC TEAM: Extensive knowledge of the media, running busy press offices and helping to establish my clients as thought-leaders in their industry. Having looked after Nokia’s global consumer strategy for four years, and now working on the likes of LinkedIn, I’m wellversed in delivering opinion-led coverage in both the corporate and consumer arena. ‘Habitual Training Companion‘
FAVOURITE THING ABOUT MOBILES: I don’t function without my mobile. It tracks my training when I’m gearing up for a marathon, keeps me on track while learning Spanish and enables me to connect to my friends when I’m out on my bike... kind of like a virtual peloton.

SARAH WHAT I BRING TO THE HTC TEAM: I’ve worked in PR for five years, specialising in consumer tech and working across UK and European accounts for the likes of Vodafone, Sony PlayStation and LinkedIn. I’m dedicated to driving solid media coverage that shapes consumer perception.
FAVOURITE THING ABOUT MOBILES: ‘Hard To Categorise‘
Mobiles have made tech mainstream – you no longer have to be ‘a geek’ to know what 4G or megapixels are. Smartphones have become part and parcel of all of our daily lives – from waking us up in the morning, to checking emails on-the-move, capturing that gig and then making all your mates jealous on Facebook. This little device has changed how we connect to people, how we listen to music and how we consume news....now, that’s pretty impressive.
PASSIONS:

Music (anything where the singer wears skinny jeans and looks they need a good wash), going to gigs and scouring charity and vintage shops for hidden gems.

‘Heiress To Cambridge’
An array of media knowledge that will ensure we’re speaking to the right people at the right time. I have close relationships with tech and consumer media and I will help you get HTC in front of the people that matter to you. For HTC, a brand I’ve admired, I’d love to get the opportunity to speak to influential journalists about the next big thing for the brand and create opinion across the industry.
FAVOURITE THING ABOUT MOBILES: You’ll never be bored again! Whatever your interests are, gaming, reading a book, checking out a recipe for dinner; you’ll never find a moment when you’re waiting for the bus with nothing to do. Current favourite guilty pleasure is getting to the next level of Candy Crush!
PASSIONS: Good food, great wine and hearing about the latest trend in the industry. I’m also partial to a good cycling trip of late.

JEN WHAT I BRING TO THE HTC TEAM: Logistical bliss. Having organised various events for a range of brands, logistics is definitely my forté. From the big things to the little - I’ve got it covered (before you’ve even thought of it).
FAVOURITE THING ABOUT MOBILES: ‘Hates Tomatoes Constantly‘
The thing I love the most about mobiles is the constant access we have to everything. No matter where we are, we can capture every moment and always be in the know about the environment around us.
PASSIONS: Most weekends, you can usually find me in a field with 20,000 other people at one of the many music festivals the UK has to offer! If I’m not dancing in my wellies, you’ll find me with my family in Liverpool.

SALMA WHAT I BRING TO THE HTC TEAM: With experience in consumer and trade PR I have knowledge across a variety of sectors securing national, regional, print, online and broadcast coverage for our clients. Working on LinkedIn I have experience working with a lot of the major tech media titles which will no doubt be relevant for HTC.
FAVOURITE THING ABOUT MOBILES: ‘Heart-warming Tasty Cakes‘
They’re constantly evolving and developing new features that you never knew you needed but that you can’t believe you lived without. I always think ‘What would I do if I didn’t have my mobile?’. Mobiles always keep us connected no matter where we are.
PASSIONS: I love cooking and baking – it’s a safe bet that you’ll find me in the kitchen or bringing in some baked goodies to the office on a Monday morning. I’m also a huge fan of kickboxing, spinning and anything that gives me that adrenaline rush.

MEL WHAT I BRING TO THE HTC TEAM: I’d love to delve into the HTC world and bring the tone of voice to life through strategic and creative experiential activations. Well-executed events are the future of PR and no matter how big or small an event is I work hard to ensure that the attention to detail is consistent throughout and the consumers journey is an enriched and memorable one. ‘Happy To Collaborate‘
FAVOURITE THING ABOUT MOBILES: I think it’s amazing that everything you need to go about your day, whether it be for work or pleasure, is all accessible within a few clicks on your phone. As an event manager, natural born organiser and antipodean it’s essential for me to be able to do everything on the go – my mobile not only enables me to manage my work day efficiently but makes it possible for me to keep in constant touch with my friends and family across the globe.
PASSIONS: Cooking, wine, travelling and bicycle riding. Not all at the same time but if mobile allowed me too I probably would.

SALLY WHAT I BRING TO THE HTC TEAM: I have experience of working on global consumer brands both in Australia and the UK. I’m fearless when it comes to hitting the phones to sell in news stories for clients and get a real buzz out of getting the media talking!
FAVOURITE THING ABOUT MOBILES: ‘Highly Travelled Chick’
My mobile was my lifeline when I moved to the UK so I would have to say maps! The next best thing would be apps such as viber and whatsapp that allows me to talk to friends and family back home for free...it still blows my mind!
PASSIONS: Sounds cliché but definitely friends and family, they are what life is all about. Also cheese (the smellier the better), whiskey (my drink of choice) and generally exploring new places. I love a country getaway and can’t get enough of the beautiful English countryside.

MEASURING SUCCESS We are always transparent and accountable for results, and all activity will be measured against pre-approved quantitative and qualitative KPIs. All coverage will be analysed by an external media analysis agency for accuracy and consistency on a quarterly basis.

BUSINESS IMMERSION We want to know HTC inside out and really get under the skin of your business. We will invest our time to visit your offices to learn about your processes and culture, and attend the necessary product training sessions so we’re fully up-to speed on all your handset features. All team members will use HTC handsets to fully live and breathe the brand.
HEARING THE CONSUMER SESSIONS Twice a year we will host an off-site session where our senior team and yours will look outside of the mobile market and have a trends/consumer insights session.
PRODUCT SHOWROOM We want Splendid HQ to be your home away from home. We will create a showspace in our office to showcase all of your handsets for media demos and interviews.
